ⅠProject objection
Project objection: provide professional and comprehensive home-care evaluation for severely disabled people from 37 streets in Pudong New Area which has body, vision, intelligence, mental and some other disability categories.
Establish medical volunteers’ team and medical experts evaluate severely disabled people by the door. Understand the independent living ability, activity ability, family care situation, etc of the disabled people through their disability categories and evaluation parameter project. By combining with the recommendations of village committee and families' suggestions, SACF confirms their care level and provides scientific basis for service agency to determine the services disabled people required.
ⅡProject operation situation
SACF creates the first maintenance service system for disabled people in China for this project. SACF provides standard guidance in the field of home-care service for disabled people, from evaluating the home-care needs for disabled people, formulate the standards of home-care for disabled people. Since 2008, the implementation of the project to the end of November, 2012, "Home-Care Program for Disabled People" has completed the medical grade evaluation work of 7168 person-time from 37 streets in Pudong New Area including Nanhui Area. Total spending for this project is RMB 728530.00. SACF evaluates home-care needs professionally of different types of disability groups in these areas by arranging not only one medical volunteer to one disabled people. With the development of the project, SACF will gradually spread to every disabled people's family in each district and street of the whole city in the future. Now, in order to achieve the purpose of steady, long-term operation target of this project, the review work SACF has done for the finished disabled people has entered into the fourth stage so as to provide them with more meticulous services.
